Faith Versus Actions

01313083240_images.jpgAs a Christian you acknowledge that all of us are sinners and it is only by God’s grace that we can spend an eternity with Him in heaven. No matter what we do, trying our best to be like Christ, we will surely fall short of the example Jesus set for us. If this is true then what is your responsibility to seek heaven and why is it so important every day?

If our actions are not enough to get us to heaven, then why do we not simply do as we wish? The teachings of Christ say that we will be recreated, the old will pass and we will be born again as Christ’s children. If we accept Christ as our savior and Lord and he forgives our sins, are we automatically in? Does the new creation turn us into perfect Christians? The Bible says this is what happened to the sinner who was on the cross next to Jesus. But how about you were on the cross next to Him but not about to perish when accepting his grace? What if you turn your life over to the Lord but were to live another 40 years? What are the affects of living in a society that does not acknowledge the grace of God on the Christian?

When thinking faith versus actions, there are a number of scriptures that tell us what God says about our actions. Here are a few examples of God telling us to be responsible for our actions and to take action:

Ephesians 4:22 “…put off your old self.”

Matthew 18 3 “…unless you change…”

James 1:21 “…get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent…”

Colossians 3:2 “Set your mind on things above…”

These are only pieces but were spoken to the Christians in the early church. The words ‘get rid of’, ‘change’, ‘put off’ and ‘set your mind’ are all action words, intended for us to act upon.

The para where Christ tells Matthew 13:3-9 is about the farmer who has sown a seed and it falls on different kinds of grounds. The seed that ended up on a path means that the word of God was not headed to and it was rejected. The seed that fell on rocky soil and thorns meant that God’s word was accepted but without any commitment towards it. These plants grew rapidly meaning that God does his part by forgiving sins and offering us the power to become the Christians Christ hoped for. But if there is no commitment to change in new Christians, then they fall out of grace. These plants did not exist but perished. Only seeds that fell on good soil or was accepted by the truly committed bore fruit.

When you accept the Lord, you were given the power to change your life, to win over your sins. But it is your commitment to make changes in your daily choices with the help of the Holy Spirit. You are bound to fall short but Christ judges you by the commitment and the intention in your heart.

Did Jesus Christ Ever Make a Mistake?

01313082853_1558759563-l.jpgSomeone is making people believe Jesus made a mistake by not writing His own accounts Himself and the four gospels which gave the account of Jesus were contradictory. Even went far by asking if Jesus Christ could read or write? Get some answers if you care!

First and foremost, if you do not even believe in His divinity as God, how then can you believe that He could read or write? John1:1-3 states that “In the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. He was the word made flesh and hence has no need to write. His life is the word which was told to us by his witnesses.

Now on a more simpler and secular terms, Jesus Christ had a specific Job to do and that is to do His father’s business (Luke2:49) which is to come and redeem Mankind and not to begin some Autobiography. The writing and the preaching has been left to those who witnessed Him and subsequently to those who believe (Matthew28:19-20). And the first people to do this were of course His closest followers, His disciples. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, making the Gospel of the Bible. If you discover any controversy between these gospels, bring it out. But also, why must you believe these books should be exactly the same? There would be no need having them all in the Bible, but rather one would be selected to represent the others. Consider this scenario, If there was a car accident, and Mr. A saw it in the perspective that the driver hit his head on the glass while the woman in front with him (the driver) flew out of the car, whereas Mr. B who had a rear view, testified that there was a boy who hit the roof of the car as the driver hit the glass but said nothing about the woman, because He did not see her; does that mean both stories are wrong, even if they are actually true? No! But when you combine these two stories together, you get a broader view of what really happened during the accident.

2nd Timothy3:16b says “All scriptures is inspired by God” Doesn’t mean God single-handedly ‘hand-write’ the Bible. He inspired Men to do so and you will not expect Him to twist their personal experiences just to make the Bible the same. If it was a revelation or a prophesy, then it is a different ball game all together, because God is using His chosen ones to say or write what is yet to happen. But so far as the disciples of Jesus are writing on account of their experiences with Him (Jesus), God Inspired them within the limits of what they actually experienced, know and saw. It is now left for us to combine these inspired driven experiences to get a broader view and greater inspiration from the word of God.

Whether Jesus Christ was able to read or not, the most important thing is that He saved us and irrespective of whether we can read or write too, He will save us if we accept Him. After all, regardless of this, the Bible was still written and the Gospel is well accessible to all Man kind. This is another proof that He was indeed the word made flesh.

One Bible, But Many Versions of Jesus Christ

21313082668_noahdovereturns.jpgSince the day I set my heart to be a serious Christian, I began to discover that there is one bible but many version of Christ. Even the bible itself consists of many versions and translations, but nevertheless they all speak about the same thing in a different light and wordings. The major difference in the Christian world is that there are actually many types of Jesus and all of them half truths, partial and bias, not the complete understanding of our Lord God and Savior.
Jesus of Grace
Here, the preacher claims that once you are saved by saying the sinner’s prayer than you are saved forever. No need to work hard to be righteous, Jesus will give you that righteousness without us trying even a little to be good. No one can be good by his own effort, so don’t need to try to be good.
Jesus of Prosperity
When you come to God, all you have to do is to give your tithes and God will bless you.

Preaching Jesus Means Preaching Baptism

When Philip preached to the Ethiopian eunuch all the Bible says about his message was that “he preached Jesus to him.” (Acts 8:34) The very first response coming out of the mouth of the eunuch at the conclusion of the preaching was a request to be baptized? That is a strange request if baptism is no part of the Jesus or the gospel. It Would Have Been Very Difficult For Jesus Christ to Have Made All This Any Simpler

Jesus has done what He came to do. The Cross has begun. He set His face to go to Jerusalem. He did not give in. Why People Reject Jesus Christ

People might feel they know the reason why they have rejected Jesus Christ, but their reason would probably be wrong. The true reason they have rejected Him is revealed in the Bible. The Most Profound Spirituality Produces the Most Unexpected Consequences in the Ministry of Jesus

Having spent most of that evening with His chosen men in the Upper Room, and having prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ is then betrayed and arrested. At that point, Jesus is then bound, and led away to Annas, and illegally tried.Give more get more. God wants you to be rich and wealthy and to do that we have to give to God so that he can bless us with what we give. Sow seed get tree with fruit, sow money to God get money from God.
Jesus of Baptism
Be baptized and all is well. You have received Jesus through confessing his name and accepting his sacrifice and be baptized and read your bible then you are saved.
Jesus a Nice Good God
God is good so he does not condemn you anymore. No chastisement, all good things will come to those who are Christians, as we are already his children and God will pamper us with all good things, money, wealth, health and favor. God does not punish anymore, he does not kill as well. All the disasters in the world are of the devil and God does nothing to stop him until Jesus comes again.
Jesus the God who gives Power
Jesus gave power to his disciple so he also gives us power to proclaim, bind and cast out devils. Our untrained tongues suddenly have the anointing once you begin to know that God has given you his inheritance to rule the world.
Jesus the human being
Jesus is not God, he is only a human and he comes to do show us how to be a good man. God is one and there is no Trinity, no father, son and Holy Spirit, only one God.
Jesus the Prophet Not Messiah
Jesus is only a prophet and he is not the savior, he came to preach about God and show the love of God for the world. Jesus is not God, he was sent by God as an enlightened one.
Jesus the answer it all God
Come to Jesus and all your problems will be solved. Your debts will be paid, or supernaturally cancelled, your sickness will be healed, your amputated leg will grow back, you will get gold teeth, and diamonds will fall all over you, gold dust will cover your body, your lost love will return and you live happily ever after.
Jesus the Institutionalized God
Jesus is a regimental God, so wants you to go to church every Sunday, pay our tithes on time, go to prayer tower to participate in 24 hours a day prayer for the world since he does not know he has to take care of the world and we have to remind him constantly. If we don’t pray he does not move.
Jesus the Bible God
Jesus is all about the bible, he speaks to us only from the bible and no where else. Everything we need to do is found in the bible and its bible and bible only, nothing else. Jesus is a God who lost the ability to talk to us directly even in dreams and visions or through the still small voice. Jesus is not present everywhere he can only be found when we read the bible.
Which is the True or Real Jesus?
The above is only a small segment of what the present Christians think of who Jesus is all about. Jesus is who he is, the I am that I am. Jesus has been stereotyped by our limited minds which classify things in the worldly human understanding. They preached a Jesus whom they think he should be but not what he actually is.
Jesus is the great I am that I am. He is whatever he wants to be and we have to learn from him. We all have to make a life long journey to know and have a relationship with him. Men tried very hard to stereotype who Jesus is so that they can feel that they have worshipped him in truth. But they did not know that Jesus is too big for them to imagine. They read the same bible but came out with many types of Jesus based on their own weaknesses and character flaws. These preachers are sincerely wrong and they don’t know Jesus. There is only one Jesus Christ and one narrow gate. Now what did Paul say about this?
2 Corinthians 11:3-4 (New International Version)
3But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
Now it has come to past, because many now preached a different Jesus from the original authentic message of Jesus. The age old message is still very simple and clear. The message is one of salvation from our sin and eternal damnation in the fires of hell.
Jesus came to die for our sins, so that we can be transformed from sinners to sons and daughters, to repent and seek forgiveness for our rebellious life which is against the word of God. We are to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior and be baptized in his name so that we can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit to lead an overcoming life, a true life of freedom from bondages and death. And to constantly be renewed from glory to glory through the washing of his words spiritually until we be changed from a heart of stone to a heart of flesh where, love, joy, peace, kindness, patience, faithfulness, goodness, self-control and gentleness, grows in our hearts.
Finding the real Jesus to gain the favor of God
Only when God favor us, will he then promote us. No man can promote anyone unless God has approved, as all promotion comes from God. You will find that promotion does not come to the smartest or the most capable, it came to those whom the Boss likes. This is called favor.
Psalm 75:5-7 (New International Version)
5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak with outstretched neck.’ ”
6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt a man.
7 But it is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.
In the Book of Daniel, God moved Nebuchadnezzar to favor Daniel because God gave Daniel the meaning of Nebuchadnezzar dreams. And in the Book of Genesis, God favors Joseph, because God moved the heart of Jacob to give Joseph a coat of honor, he also made Potiphar favor Joseph and finally the Pharaoh himself favored Joseph because God gave Joseph the meaning of his dreams. When God favors you, he will cause kings to favor you since all authorities are instituted by him. Kings may or may not be Christians; it is irrelevant, simply because all kings are approved by God himself. Cyrus was a pagan king whom God favored and made him great, but he was no Israelite.
Proverbs 21:1 (New International Version)
Proverbs 21
1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD;
he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.
Why did God favor Daniel and Joseph? They were men of excellent character and qualities who do not compromise on their beliefs and they were whole hearted in their life style because they honor their heavenly father. They did not try to be good Christians; they are simply walking in the ways of the Lord God.
Unless you also walk in the ways of the Lord our God, he will not favor you and so you cannot be the head. So confessing Jesus as Lord will not bring about this favor, unless you absorbed the word of God and embed it in your life style you will not gain favor with God much less gain any gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you do not turn away from your old ways and seek to walk in the righteous ways of the Lord thy God, he will not favor you. Your salvation is also not real, no deeds, no actions all talk and unless prayers with no sincerity.
God is not mocked and he can see into the intentions of the hearts of men. A sinner’s prayer is not enough to get you into the favor of God. God’s approval comes from the gift of the Holy Spirit into the lives of many. Jesus is the only baptizer of the Holy fire and Spirit and no pastors can give you that. God must sanctify you with the truth before he can bestow a gift upon your life, and that is a spiritual one.
When you confess and receive Jesus Christ into your life, you have only enrolled yourself in his School of Holiness and the work has only just started. It’s a life long process of transformation and bearing good fruit. Until you produce the fruit of the Spirit you are never truly his disciple. A tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down.
Matthew 3:10
The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Matthew 7:17
Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Matthew 12:33
“Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.
Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Many Christians are walking Zombies, they hear a sermon, agree to it and the minute they step out of church they forgot everything they heard. They have ears but they do not hear. If they heard, they would have done what God said to do. These people do not honor their own word let alone honor God’s word. Every life situation is a test and yet they do things their own ways and not the ways of the Lord God. It is always easy to walk in our own ways by doing what comes to our minds and we don’t consider how others may feel. It is much more difficult to decide to change our ways and to walk in the ways of the Lord our God.
John 14:21
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
John 14:23
Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
John 14:24
He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
Here is an example of how I changed my ways, in the past, I will take justice into my own hands so I need to formulate a plan and perform some manipulation. But today, after coming to Christ, I read that vengeance belongs to God, so I petition God with my request and seek justice from God and I found he never forgets, he always give me the justice due to me. That is provided I walk in his ways and also on condition that I am on a right standing with God, which means I was not the evil one.
Here is another example, in the past, I would be very zealous for Christ and I would evangelize to anyone I met without the wisdom from God. Sometimes, I offend; some times I intrude into other people’s life style by being over zealous. Now, I let God speak to me and then I will open up, but I speak only he words he gave me and no more. I do not try to be too smart by helping God, God need our cooperation as being available and be bold and willing to be used by him. God does not need our knowledge and wisdom to try to help him win souls. Jesus Christ himself is the promise not us, and we will never have the power to change anyone unless God works with us through the Holy Spirit.
Here is a third example, in the past, I thought we have to sow, plant and reap all at once. Now, I know, I may be called to sow into one person, plant in another and reap what I did not sow. So this understanding made my life a joy and great peace and ease came to all my work because I decided to do things God’s way. It’s a fantastic way to learn the heart of the Father. If you have never run an errand for God, you will never learn his ways, reading the bible is not enough, you need to have a relationship with God by doing things when he commands you. But then again, how can you do things for him, if you can not hear from him. My sheep hear my voice, and they follow me, says the Lord your God.

What Would Your Spiritual Obituary Read Like?

11313083421_jesussaves27.jpgDeath is the common denominator which cuts across race, religion, social status, ethnicity, education, age, gender, birth origin, or even morality; everybody dies. It is that one appointment none of us will be late for or delay the death angel’s arrival. There is no bribe that can be offered or impassioned plea to prolong the inevitable for more time when the last grain in the hourglass of our life has emptied. Indeed, it would seem to be appropriate to seriously consider what kind of record we are writing in the book of our LIFE. Every newspaper across America and doubtless in other countries around the globe contains a personal section called Obituaries, which are brief overviews [biographies], maybe a couple of sentences or a large section, sometimes including a photo, about peoples lives and the impact their untimely passing [in many cases] has upon the survivors and loved ones they left behind. The endearing and emotional sentiments would make one think that all, or almost all of these departed souls will fly away to be with the LORD in Heaven; but is this the case?

John 5: 28-29
Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the grave will hear His [MY] voice and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation [damnation].

John 8: 21a, 24
Then Jesus [Yeshua] said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come. Therefore I say to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He [Moshiach/Savior], you will die in your sins.

2 Corinthians 5: 10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ [Moshiach], that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Revelation 22: 10
And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every one according to his work (Cp. Matthew 16: 27).

Revelation 20: 11-12, 15
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works by the things which were written in the [their] books. And anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

NOTE: There are people who believe in an eleventh hour, last minute death-bed confession after spurning or ignoring the invitation of divine grace, it is because they procrastinate and put off the day of salvation, but a principle to consider is found in the following:

Hebrews 3: 7-9a
Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me (Cp. verse 15; 4: 7b).

NOTE: Ok, but some will contend that all you have to do is just call upon the LORD to save you but here is what rightly dividing the word of God says in the matter, as in the following:

Romans 10: 13-15a, 8-9
How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear [learn] without a preacher [or the Bible]? And how shall they preach unless they are sent [or called for]? But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus [Yeshua] and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Believe-1 a: to have a firm religious faith [or the basis for one]; 2: to have a firm conviction as to the goodness, efficacy, or ability of something [or in someone, such as God] 1 b: to accept the word or evidence.

Question: Could someone in their final hour of life on this earth and taking their last breath of air suddenly acquire or manifest the requisite mental elements of a rational mind and a purposeful decision to be saved out of a deep and profound sense of being a sinner who repents or is it instead, a desperate and spurious last minute attempt borne out of ‘unbelief’ and hardness of heart or shame, perhaps even regret, as a guilt-trip to masquerade a lifetime given to sin, rebellion and rejection of God’s love and mercy; knowing that tomorrow for them will never arrive and there are no more chances left?

NOTE: To produce unequivocal evidence on this very point regarding whether a person wants to change inwardly, let’s take a look at the Pharaoh of Egypt’s encounter with Moses. Pharaoh’s heart grew hard (Cp. Exodus 8: 19b); Pharaoh told Moses to intercede to God on his behalf but he didn’t change (Cp. Exodus 8: 28b, 32); Pharaoh confessed that he had sinned and was wicked, but he still resisted God (Cp. Exodus 9: 34b-35); Again Pharaoh said that he had sinned against the LORD God and Moses and wanted Moses to entreat God on his behalf to forgive his sin, but he remained obstinate (Cp. Exodus 10: 16-17, 20); Pharaoh let the children of Israel depart Egypt and asked Moses to bless him, but his heart was hardened yet again to the end. (Cp. Exodus 12: 30-32; 14: 5).

2 Corinthians 7: 10
For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow [regret/remorse] of the world works death.

Hebrews 12: 17
For you know that afterward, when he [Esau] wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

2 Corinthians 6: 2
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

NOTE: There is a window of opportunity that God allows for every person to choose His offer of grace and salvation but it is a finite one and sooner or later, God’s justice and wrath will take center stage and mercy is no longer available.

Galatians 6: 7
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Proverbs 14: 1a
Fools mock at sin.

Proverbs 1: 26
I will also laugh at your calamity. I will mock when your terror comes. When your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you (Cp. verses 28-31).

Hosea 8: 7a
They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind [tornado].

NOTE: to those who have been told to pray “THE SINNER’S PRAYER” should read below:

John 9: 31
Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshipper of God and does His will, He hears him.

Isaiah 59: 1-2
Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor is His ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

Job 27: 8-9
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he may gain much, if God takes away his life? Will God hear his cry when trouble comes upon him?

2 Kings 20: 1-5
In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live,’ ” Then he [Hezekiah] turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying, “Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I walked before you in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle of the court, that the word of the LORD came to him [again], saying, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you will go up to the house [Temple] of the LORD.

CONCLUSION: This above passage encapsulates the main point of the study as it pertains to believers, namely, when King Hezekiah was told of his impending death, he had a record to fall back on of good works [fruit] that could be reviewed by God which was so impressive as to reverse the prior divine edict; and God added an additional 15 years to his life (verse 6a). How many of us could tell the LORD to remember our walk of faith before Him in truth, with a loyal heart, and that we accomplished the right things according to His will? The prophet didn’t even make it halfway to the town gate before he had to turn around and go back to give King Hezekiah the latest divine newsflash. What he [King Hezekiah] didn’t do is remind God about was how religious he was, or how much he prayed using eloquent and lofty platitudes, or how devoutly he worshipped the LORD in the Temple.

Revelation 14: 12-13b
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus [Yeshua]. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, “Write, “Blessed are the dead that die in the LORD from henceforth: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them.”

Christian Wedding

21313083291_genesis-z044.jpgChristian wedding reminds of beautiful peaceful wedding adorned in white color decor symbolizing purity. Christian weddings in India like other religions are deeply rooted in its religion and that is why the wedding takes place in the church before a priest and is attended by close relatives only. According to Christian belief a marriage is the union of two souls which is blessed by Christ.
A Christian wedding is formalized after the groom puts a ring into bride’s finger which is a sign of affirmation from the groom’s side that after this, he will marry her only.

Your invitations should be decorated not only with doves and laces, but also with a meaningful scripture from the Bible. Christian Wedding Invitation Wording – Make Your Wedding Invitations

It is true that it can be very expensive to get married these days with the high cost of everything that is needed for the wedding. You will spend much for your wedding. But of course, you can also save some money with help of some wedding planning ideas on a small budget. One good example of wedding planning idea on a small budget is making own wedding invitations. Then a priest or an elder in the family makes the Christian sign thrice with his hands so that they stay away from the evil. The wedding celebrations begin with Bridal shower in which all the female relatives and friends gift presents to the bride and bless her for her happy married life. This occasion is filled with fun and enjoyment where the bride serves a pink cake to all her relatives in which a thimble is hidden and whoever receives that thimble in her piece of cake will be the next to get married. Similarly, bachelor’s party is thrown by the groom for his friends. It involves enjoyment as all the men indulge into heavy drinking.
On the wedding day which usually happens in the morning or afternoon the Christian bride wears a wedding dress which is a white colour gown and sometimes Indian Christian brides also prefer a white colour saree with a white veil of net and a flower bouquet in her hands. The white colour is a symbol of purity and virginity. The Christian groom on the other hand, dresses in a formal suit which can be in white or black colour.
The bride and the groom then leave for the church where the wedding ceremony will be conducted. Unlike other Indian marriages where the groom is welcomed by the bride’s family, in Christian weddings the bride arrives later and the groom waits for her. The bride is then welcomed by the best man with a kiss on her hand and gives her a bouquet of flowers. They both then walk up to the place where the priest is standing beside whom the groom stands waiting for her bride-to-be. The best man leaves the bride besides the groom where they face towards the priest. The priest begins the ceremony with wedding hymns and recites reading from the bible, after which he asks separately from the bride and the groom whether they take each other as each others life partner. The couple gives answer in a promise that they take each other as their life partner and exchange their wedding rings and kiss each other and sign on a register and turn around to walk arm-in-arm and leave the church.
After coming out, the bride throws flowers backwards without looking back and whoever catches the bouquet is believed next in line to get married. The couple then sits in the car decorated with flowers and leave for a long drive.
After the marriage, the next occasion is reception party organized by both the families together where they call their relatives, friends and neighbors to bless the newly weds and enjoy music, multi-cuisine food and have a good time. The newly married couple cuts a huge cake and a close family member raise a toast in their honor and the party is carried on with lots of music and dance.

The Secret – To Spiritual Success

f_21311970334_jesus23.jpgBefore you are born, you sit down with your spiritual guides (for approximately 2 years Earth time) and together you decide what lessons you need to master during this lifetime, what negative karma you need to balance, and what personality traits you will possess during this lifetime to help you to achieve your life lessons. This forms the basis of what is known as your Soul Life Blueprint.

It is over the course of hundreds of lives that you choose to master higher qualities of love, forgiveness, unconditional love, tolerance, acceptance, compassion, empathy, wisdom, and many, many more. Throughout our lives we incur karma (or negative debt) through wrong action. This must be repaid over the course of our lifetimes, and every lesson mastered, before we can free ourselves from the Earth plane, never to return. 80% of the negative energy you feel inside is residual negative energy from a past life or past lives. It is through the process of rebirth or reincarnation that you seek to release this negative energy that you carry inside of you. This negative energy resides in your body’s cell memory and subconscious mind.
You choose the circumstances that will provide you with the opportunities to learn your life lessons and to repay your karmic debt.
1. You choose your parents: Choosing the right parents is important for the soul to achieve many of its life lessons, and each soul will choose parents that will challenge or teach it in someway. Sometimes it is necessary to choose a harsh or critical parent, who will challenge your internal power. You may not have stepped into your own power and need a dominant force to cause rebellion within your being, to awaken you. It may be that you chose a critical parent as a challenge to test your own self-love and acceptance of yourself. It may even be that you chose a critical parent because you yourself were highly critical of others in a past lifetime and this time you need to experience the injustice of being unfairly criticised and bullied for yourself, as well as repay the karmic debt you have incurred.
2. You choose your personality, your name and your date and time of birth: Choosing your personality, your name and your date and time of birth is a precise action of your soul. Your soul is governed by astrology, or the governing forces of the planets. These planetary forces govern your personality, the way you act, and your internal desires and drives, so it is critical that your soul be born at the precise moment in time, so that you end up with the personality that your soul has chosen to learn its life lessons. Because your name, and your date and time of birth reflect your entire astrological make-up precisely, those trained in the fields of decoding astrology and numerology charts are able to provide you with an accurate and clear account of your soul purpose, your personality, your inner desires, and your karmic debt, etc. You may be wondering how it is that you choose your own name. The answer to this is simple. You psychically implant your full name into the minds of your parents who believe they have chosen your name for you.
3. You choose what negative events and trauma you will encounter: In order to learn your life lessons and become stronger, you need to test yourself and overcome obstacles and often very difficult challenges that you have chosen for yourself before your were born. Hmm, you are saying, but what about free will? If we have predestined our life, what free will do we have? It is true that you have free will when you live on the Earth plane. Before you are born, you choose the many, many different variables or directions that your life could go in. And there are thousands! Your life is like a choose-your-own-adventure novel that you have chosen for yourself before birth. Together with your spiritual guides, you choose all of the possible outcomes that will enable you to fulfill your soul purpose.
4. You choose the negative people who will come into your life: Every person who you encounter on your life-path is your teacher, and reveals to you what you still have yet to master. Especially those who are negative! The very thing you hate most in your enemies, those you hate or cannot stand, is usually the thing you refuse to see or recognize within yourself! These souls act as mirrors for you, and are very important beings for your growth and learning. Your enemies are usually your best or closest friends in the spiritual dimensions, and agree to challenge you on the Earth plane to help you achieve your life lessons.
5. You choose the time you will be awakened spiritually: You give yourself a period of time to awaken spiritually on your own, without any help from spirit. Some choose to awaken later in life, others quite early. Before you are born you request from your Spiritual Master, that if you have not awoken to your spiritual path by the time you have set yourself, that everything that you hold close and dear is to be taken from you, so that you may deeply reflect on your life and what is important to you. This may include losing your spouse, your car, your house, your job, your reputation, your money, your security, your health, whatever is necessary for you to see what is really important to you in your life.
6. Discovering your Soul Life Blueprint: Each soul has encoded in its full name and date of birth its Soul Life Blueprint, which reveals specific lessons it is seeking to master in this lifetime, what karma it is seeking to repay, the purpose of its soul this time around, and the personality type it has chosen to accomplish each of these. Understanding this important information is The Secret to Spiritual Success. Your Soul Life Blueprint will help you to awaken to your spiritual path, and is an important road-map for those already awakened to mastering their life lessons. You will begin to see why you have attracted certain types of people into your life. You will begin to see why you act in a certain way, and what negative behaviors you are here to overcome. You will begin to see how negative actions in previous lives (karma) is still affecting you in this lifetime, and what you can do to correct this and turn your life around. You will begin to see why you have p articular interests and desires, and what fears hold you back in your life.
Your Soul Life Blueprint will show you how you can implement new strategies specific to you to help you master your life lessons; it will show you what internal psychological stress patterns you can expect from your personality during this lifetime; and it will show you how to work through these internal stress patterns, how to bring harmony back into your life, and how to find peace within.

How does one accept Christ and become truly saved?

11313082793_thegospelaccordingtojesus.jpgDespite the consequences of your history or background there is one path and only one path into heaven and living a faithful life for God.
 John 4:16 (KJV)
16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Christ spoke these words; Christ is the son of man and the Son of God. Jesus Christ came to live on earth through a virgin birth to open our hearts to the divine emptiness that was present to the natural state of humanity. Christ died on the cross in our place so that he could bridge the openness between man and God. Christ gave his own life as a living sacrifice to compensate the debt that we owe to God for our sins.
John 1:12-13 (KJV)
12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Many lost ponder on how to become saved and accept Christ. It is a divine conversion. It takes place within your heart as an outcome of your freewill in accepting Christ’s pardon for your sins. Many people from day to day say that they believe in God but that is not enough. Satin himself believes in God and does not make him any less evil. A church, pastor, priest, or all the money and power in the world can save you. Things can lead you to Christ (your family, a T.V. show, or friend) but it cannot save you. It is the result of the choice you make within your heart out from being born again out of faith.
While salvation may be defined using a variety of terms such as being saved, accepting Christ, or being born again, it all comes down to the same thing. Accepting Christ means that you have recognized the need for Christ’s pardon of your sins and accepted His gift to you of salvation, being born again signifies the spiritual rebirth which takes place within you upon your belief in and acceptance of Christ, and being saved means that you have made a conscious decision to accept Christ, you became born of the Spirit as a result, and are now no longer one of the ‘lost’, who are still without God. Upon attaining salvation, it leads to a personal relationship with God and entitles you to heaven.
Speaking of heaven, one of the major misconceptions about who will be there is ‘good people’. Here on earth, there may indeed be both good and bad people, but it doesn’t much matter in terms of salvation, because no matter how ‘good’ we are, we can never be good enough. You, on your own merit, cannot meet the requirements of God needed in order to attain your own salvation- that is why Jesus died in your place. He is the very lifeline to God.
 Romans 3:22-24 (KJV)
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Wondering what it is you need to be saved from? Hell, dear friend. It isn’t simply the dark side of the latest fairy tale or the cheesy punch line from the last joke you heard, it is a concrete place of existence and contrary to popular belief, it is not simply a place ‘bad’ people are sent to face punishment when they die. It is eternal separation from God and I assure you, you want no part of that. Indeed, those residing in hell will face everlasting torment, but each and every sorry soul who spends eternity there will be there as a result of a choice that was made at some point during life on earth. While we sometimes think we know who deserves to be there and who doesn’t, we need to realize that hell isn’t something God wants for any of us.
 1 Timothy 2:3-6 (KJV)
 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Would you like to take a moment now and accept Christ into your life? There is no better time than the present, and in this very moment your life can be forever changed. If you believe that Jesus died for the sin of humanity, and if you would like to accept His pardon for you personally, you may ask him to come into your heart and make your life new. It’s a simple request with life altering results, and if you have made this decision, you are now a child of the highest and only God, and one day I will meet you in heaven.
That is how a person accepts Christ and becomes saved. Through faith in Jesus Christ.
Here is a sample prayer below to help you in becoming saved. After being saved you will need a Bible, preferably King James Version Bible. You can download the bible for free in PDF or MS Word at www.calvarymissionarybaptist.org .  You are saved and you need to read God’s word to help lead your new life in his will. This is our church site. It has audio sermons and more. No signing up or ads. Just the Gospel of Christ.
“Dear Heavenly Father, You have called me to Yourself in the name of Your dear Son Jesus. I realize that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life; and is the only Mediator between You and man.

I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner. I believe that Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross, died for my sins, and rose again on the third day. I am truly sorry for the deeds which I have committed against
You, and therefore, I am willing to repent (turn away from my sins). Have mercy on me, a sinner. Cleanse me, and forgive me of my sins as I forgive anyone who has ever sinned against me.

I truly desire to serve You, Lord Jesus. Starting from now, I pray that You would help me to hear Your still small voice.
Lord, I desire to be led by Your Holy Spirit so I can faithfully follow You and obey all
of Your commandments. I ask You for the strength to love You more than anything else so I won’t fall back into my old ways.
I also ask You to bring genuine believers into my life who will encourage me to live for You and help me stay accountable.

Jesus, I am truly grateful for Your grace which has led me to repentance and has saved me from my sins. By the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit, I now have the power to overcome all sin which before so easily entangled me. Lord Jesus, please
transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to You alone and not to myself.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. With my heart, I believe that God the Father raised His Son Jesus from the dead. This very moment I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and according to His Word, right
now I am born again. Thank You, Jesus,
for coming into my life and hearing my prayer. I ask all of this in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.”

What Is Religion?

f_01311970333_jesus46.jpgReligion has many different meanings depending on what culture one comes from.

The anthropology of religion perhaps began with Al Biruni (973 1048), an Islamic scholar from Persia, who wrote detailed scientific studies of religions and cultures across the Middle East, Mediterranean and the Indian sub Continent. He is accorded as the founder of anthropology.

Anthropologists have looked at religion down the ages and examined the symbols that have been worshiped, the deities being glorified, the temples, shrines, churches and even the nature of the gods being promoted. There has been a thousand year history in this study. Anthropologists have further looked at the moral codes, the ethical codes, the organizational hierarchies of different religions to find a universal definition.
